China Banking Regulatory Commission is to call off the inter-bank balance enquiry fee. People's Bank of China , China Banking Regulatory Commission and Development and Reform Commission will jointly regulate the charge of commercial banks and take the consumers’ bearing capability into consideration, and provide more options for consumers.

Supreme People's Court and Hong Kong Department of Justice signed a Mutual Legal Assistance Agreement on mutual recognition and implementation of the judgment on civil and commercial cases of the presidial party made by the courts of Mainland and Hong Kong in Hong Kong Central Government Offices. The Secretary for Justice, Huang Renlong expressed that the related agreement could dispel the confusion of investors on the litigation and implementing judgment to bring more attractions to the investment environment both in mainland and Hong Kong as well as promote Hong Kong to develop as the place settling local disputes.

The First Enterprise General Risk Management Summit, sponsored by the Research Centre of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of State Council and Asia Association of Risk and Crisis Management, will be held from September 15 to 16 in Beijing .

The Journal of Intellectual Property reports: China Customs currently released an announcement that it is unnecessary to provide pieces of guarantees as the case processing but just a piece of guarantee should be provided as an intellectual property right holder requests the customs to detain the suspected infringing goods.

The origin of 12 months’ appellation in English---------August

After Julius Caesar died, his grandnephew Octavian took over the Kingdom of Roman . In order to be on an equal footing with Caesar, he wanted to nominate a month with his name. Though he was born in September, he chose August because Roman Curia sanctified Augustus to him after he ascended the throng. However, as the days in August were one day less than those in July, he took out one day from February to August. Since then, there was one day less in February than ever.

According to <The Management Regulation on the Tenancy of Urban Houses>, under following circumstances, the tenancy of urban houses is not allowed: the house ownership certificate is not acquired in accordance with laws and regulations; the house is sealed up or the housing right is restrained in other forms due to the legal judgment made by justice board or administration authority; the sharing house without the permission of the joint tenant; the ownership of the house is disputable; the house is constructed irregularly; the house is not in compliance with the safety standard; the mortgage house without the permission of the mortgager; the house is not in compliance with the related rules of administrations of public security, environment protection, sanitation, etc.; other circumstances prohibited by relevant laws and regulations.
