On May 27, 2004, The Economic Criminal Unit of Beijing City Public Security Bureau invited Mr. Hai Yang, the president of Steele Business Investigation Center to give a lecture with the subject “Business investigation and criminal reconnaissance ”, which has achieved an active action for police officials to understand investigation industry.

Required certificate and evidence be provided by plaintiffs

in the first trial of civil cases

To provide identification certificates, i.e. ID, employee’s card, domicile information, and etc., if the plaintiff is the legal representative of a company or a self-employed or a partnership, who will be required to provide the original business license; If provided copies, after the court verified with the original without inerrability the original will be returned back.

To provide the defendant’s name, sex, age, employer, home address, and the administrative place of his/her domicile.

The disputed event, evidence, witnesses’ name, employer, address, and the relationship with the plaintiff.

If the plaintiff is a legal representative to attend the lawsuit, the plaintiff will be required to provide a certificate of legal representative; if a vicegerent is on behalf of the legal representative, the vicegerent will be required to provide the authorization from the legal representative, in which has to state the matter and the limits of authority.

For a foreign lawsuit, the plaintiff has to provide his/her foreign identification certificate, and if the plaintiff provides a foreign language petition, as well as the Chinese version be required.

If the one from Hong Kong or Taiwan or Macao brings an accusation by self, the one has to provide the local ID or returned card or sailor card or passport; if the accusation is via letters, the petition and the authorization should be attested by the appointed Hong Kong Lawyers or issued relevant certificate by The Ministry of Justice of The People’s Republic of China.

An overseas Chinese lived in abroad brings an accusation, who will be required to submit his/her passport issued by The Embassy or The Consulate of The People’s Republic of China in foreign countries or districts, and then directly submits the petition to the court after authorized by The Embassy or The Consulate. If without the authorization of The Embassy or The Consulate, the certificate from the Local Organization Sodality of Patriotic Overseas Chinese is required.

The compensation case and land dissension case after the handled by The Administrative Organizations, the plaintiff has to provide the decision or the arbitration, and documents issued by relevant organizations.
