According to the USA newspaper report: there is an American insurance company in an one hundred years old tree. Investigation berfore the lawsuit——to invesitgate the debtor’s assets before the lawsuit. There are three advantages of the investigation: Firstly, it provides evidence to the debtee whether it is worth to against debtor; Secondly, it provides the condition of fixing the debtor’s property; thirdly, it stops the debtor from transfering property.

Investigation after the lawsuit——to investigation debtor’s property after debtee won the lawsuit. This investigation isn’t effective, but it is the important way to solve the enforcement problem. If the debtor was against the first time and the investigation was done under the way, it is also can get the good effect. So Steele suggests you to choose the investigation before the lawsuit and then the investigation after lawsuit.
